[AY]TOKPA KAICAP[...], laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / KOINON [ΘЄCCAΛѠN], Athena Itonia striding right, hurling spear held in her right hand, shield on her left arm. Burrer, MA-G 21 var. (obv. legend and bust type); Rogers –. Fine, attractive pale olive green patina; a rare variety.

A]V-P ANTΩNIN, laureate head right / [KOIN]ON [Θ]ЄCCAΛ[ΩN], [Nike, holding wreath in extended right hand, reins in left, driving] quadriga galloping right. Burrer, MA-G 29 (same dies); Rogers –. Near Fine, reverse nearly slick, ragged flan, green patina; very rare denomination/type. Overstruck on uncertain Thessalian Imperial (Septimius Severus?).

This coin is a perfect example for the argument against using letter forms as a sole indicator of dating, as both forms of omega, Ω and Ѡ, are present.
