LOKRIS, Lokris Opuntia. Circa 369-338 BC. AR Stater (12.12 gm). Wreathed head of Persephone left, wearing triple-pendant earring and necklace / Ajax advancing right, nude but for crested helmet, brandishing sword and shield, shield decorated with griffin, spear at his feet diagonally; L between legs. Apparently an unrecorded variety with the L on the reverse. Toned nice VF. ($2000)
