CYCLADES. Kimolos. Circa 3rd-2nd Century BC. Æ 13mm (1.90 gm). Helmeted head of Athena right / K-I, amphora. BMC Crete -; SNG Copenhagen -; Traité -; Lindgren -; Weber -; Head, HN -. Near VF, dark brown patina, some roughness. Unpublished and unique. ($500)

Kimolos was a small island located between Melos and Siphnos. All coinage from this island is very rare, Head listing only one type with the head of Athena on the obverse, and a trident on the reverse and SNG Copenhagen lists a type with Athena and a crab.
