THESSALY, Methylion. Circa 340 BC. Æ Dichalkon (17mm, 3.75 g, 9h). Obverse die signed by Π. Head of nymph right; Π behind / Nike flying left, holding tainia and wreath. Rogers 404 (same obv. die); BCD Thessaly II 474.1 (same obv. die); Hirsch XIII (15 May 1905), lot 1360 = Hirsch XXIX (9 November 1910), lot 347 (attributed to Methydrion, same obv. die). VF, dark green patina. Rare.
