MYSIA, Kyzikos Circa 350-300 BC. AR Tetradrachm (15.16 gm). Head of Kore Soteira left, hair in sphendone covered with a veil, two grain ears in hair / Head of lion left, mouth open with tongue protruding, tunny fish below; stag's head behind. Cf. Von Fritze 23 (symbol not recorded); BMC Mysia -; SNG von Aulock -; SNG Fitzwilliam -; Weber -; McClean -; Pozzi -; Gulbenkian -. Lightly toned, near EF, surfaces slightly grainy, well centered and quite attractive. Apparently unrecorded with this symbol! ($2000)
