IONIA, Magnesia ad Maeandrum. Circa 3rd Century BC. AR Octobol (5.46 gm). Rider with lance on horseback prancing right; monogram below / Bull butting left; grain ear behind, magistrate KUDROKLHS below; all within circular maeander pattern. Cf. SNG Copenhagen 814 (bronze with the same magistrate). Good VF, flat strike. Apparently unrecorded in silver. ($500)
