SYRIA, Seleukid Kings. Demetrios I. 162-150 BC. AR Tetradrachm (16.75 gm). Antioch mint. Diademed head right, showing just a a trace of a beard, within wreath / Tyche seated, holding baton and cornucopiae, Nereid supporting throne; monogram left. SNG Spaer -; Newell, SMA, 90; Houghton, CSE, 147 (same obverse die). Good VF, just a trace of light porosity. ($250)
