NEZAK HUNS. Anonymous. Time of Shahi Tigin. After circa 720 AD. Billon "Drachm" (2.20 gm). Bust with pointed beard right, wearing crown with wings and a crescent / Four tamghas in a beaded circle. Göbl Hunnen - (later named Em. 266A) in Supplementa Orientalia II, 24; MACW 1555. Fine, brown patina with red earthen encrustation. Extremely rare. ($300) This coin has two examples published, one considered unique by Göbl, and one in Mitchener, this being the finest.
