BAKTRIA, Graeco-Baktrian Kings. Antimachos I. Circa 174-165 BC. AR Tetradrachm (16.14 gm). EUQUDHMOU right, QEOU left, diademed head right / BASILEUONTO right, ANTIMACOU left, QEOU in exergue, Herakles seated left on rock, holding club before knee; (AN) monogram in lower right field. Bopearachchi Série 10; SNG ANS 297. Near EF, areas of roughness or porosity, small chip in reverse field. Very rare (6 specimens cited in Bopearachchi). ($2500)

This is only the second specimen ever offered by CNG, and is far higher grade than all the plated examples cited above.
