MACEDON, Thessalonica. Julia Domna. Augusta, AD 193-217. Æ (27mm, 9.46 g, 6h). Struck circa AD 210-211. Draped bust right / Nike advancing left, holding wreath in extended left hand and palm frond over right shoulder. Touratsoglou - (V4 of Domna/R8 of Septimius Severus). Near VF, black patina. A seemingly rare variety - this appears to be the only “Nike left” die under Severus to show her holding the wreath in her left hand and the palm frond in her right, not vice versa.
