Kallatis, Lower Moesia. Early-mid 3rd Century. Triassarion (Bronze, 22mm, 7.94 g 8). Draped and veiled bust of Demeter to right, wearing wreath of grain; before, torch; behind, Κ. Rev. ΚΑΛΛΑΤΙΑΝΩΝ Galley with steersman under sail to right; in field to left, Γ (=3). AMNG 287 var. An attractive example with a dark green patina. Nearly extremely fine.

Exactly when this attractive coin was struck is unclear. However, its size and denomination seems to indicate a date around the time of Severus Alexander.
