UNCERTAIN GERMANIC TRIBES. Mid to late 5th century AD. AV Solidus (22mm, 4.30 g, 6h). Imitating Theodosius II. Diademed, helmeted, and cuirassed bust facing slightly right, holding spear over shoulder and shield / Constantinopolis seated left, left foot on prow, holding globus cruciger; star to right, shield at side; COИBO. Cf. RIC X 257 (for prototype); Depeyrot 85; cf. Fagerlie 344-50. VF, slightly wavy flan, scattered field marks.
