SICILY, Leontini. Circa 430-425 BC. AR Tetradrachm (24mm, 17.29 g, 7h). Laureate head of Apollo left / Head of lion left; four barley grains around. Boehringer, Münzgeschichte 55 (same dies); SNG ANS 257 (same dies). Superb EF, wonderful old cabinet toning, minor die break on obverse (characteristic for this die).
