UNCERTAIN GERMANIC TRIBES. Late 5th – 6th centuries AD. AV Tremissis (15mm, 1.46 g, 6h). In the name of Anastasius I. Uncertain (Ravenna?) mint. DN ANASTA (retrograde S)(HV ligate)(retrograde S) PP AVC, pearl-diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust right / VICTORIA AVC(retrograde S)TOЯVИ, Victory standing facing, head left, on globe, holding wreath and globus cruciger; star to right; COIIOB. Cf. COI 14; cf. MIB 10; cf. MEC 1, 141-2. VF, a few marks, slightly wavy flan. Attractive strike.
