Authorized for circulation in West New Jersey, 18 May 1682. King David standing left, playing harp; crown above; below, martlet between annulet and small figure ‘8’ / St. Patrick standing slightly left, extending hand and holding patriarchal cross; church in background to right. Edge: Reeded. DF 348; Whitman W-11500; Breen 217. Fine, some surface roughness, usual brass plug near the crown on the obverse. Very rare variety.
