From the Collection of an Underwriter. Ex Spink 152 (14 March 2001), lot 1055; Spink Numismatic Circular XCIII.9 (November 1985), no. 7960; R.P. Mack Collection, 1218 (his ticket included, not in Glendining sales), who purchased it from Spink, 16 October 1961; reportedly ex Duke of Argyll Collection.

As with the previous lot, the Duke of Argyll pedigree has been added to this coin in a recent Spink sale. As Spink purchased the Argyll collection in 1949, it is possible that they have records verifying this.
