Struck in the name and types of Henry II, circa 1190-1205. ҺЄИRIЄVS · R ЄX, crowned facing bust, holding scepter / + TOMΛS · OИ RVLΛИ, voided cross, with four pellets in angles. Brand 2330 (same dies); SCBI 56 (Mass), 2176 (this coin); North 972/2; SCBC note under ‘Irregular Local Issue’. VF, unevenly toned, a few marks. Very rare mint.
