PLANTAGENET. Edward I. 1272-1307. AR Penny (20mm, 1.35 g, 6h). New coinage, class Vb. London mint. Struck circa 1289-1291. Crowned facing bust / Long cross pattée, with three pellets in angles. SCBI 39 (North), 272-5; North 1029; SCBC 1400. Good Fine, lightly toned, a few small marks, slightly irregular flan, minor ghosting of reverse cross on obverse. Scarce.
