AKPA KAI M AVP AИ • KAI ΘЄ C-ЄB [NЄ] ΠΛAVTIΛΛAИ, confronted busts of Plautilla right, draped and wearing stephane, and Caracalla left, laureate, draped, and cuirassed; c/m: helmeted bust right within oval incuse and ΘЄOV within rectangular incuse / Hekate standing left, holding patera and torch; to left, hound standing left, head reverted. SNG von Aulock 2695/2694 (same obv. die as 2695, rev. type as 2694); SNG Copenhagen -; SNG Keckman -; SNG Leypold 850 (same obv. die); for c/m’s: Howgego 188 and 536. Good Fine, brown patina, even roughness. An interesting obverse legend lauding the divinity of Plautilla.
