SELEUKID KINGS of SYRIA. Seleukos I Nikator. 312-281 BC. AR Drachm (17mm, 4.10 g, 11h). Susa mint. Struck circa 305/4-295 BC. Head of hero (Alexander or Seleukos?) right, wearing helmet covered with panther skin and adorned with the ear and horns of a bull / Nike standing right, holding wreath that she places on trophy to right; NI to lower left. SC 174.3 = ESMS S-21 (this coin referenced); HGC 9, 34. Good VF, lightly toned. Good metal and fine style. Unique example of this drachm issue.
