river Maas), from which liquid flows; to right, putto seated left against powder keg, holding herring; cityscape of Rotterdam and River Maas in background; in two lines in exergue, M : HOLTZHEY · FECIT ·/ROTTERDAMVM / AD PERMVTANDAS VRBIS ET ORBIS OPES (
