2nd Intermediate Period. Circa 1650-1550 BC. Blue glazed steatite scarab (15x11mm). Base divided in three columns with nonsensical hieroglyphs in the center flanked by symmetrical
swt plants,
nefer and
ankh signs. Good condition, glaze slightly worn, pierced for mounting.
