New Kingdom. Circa 1550-1075 BC. Steatite scarab (17x13mm). Base engraved with two monkeys adoring an obelisk, signs for “Amun is my Guide and my Prince” below. Cf. Matouk II, 777; Jaeger, fig. 6. Small chip on mount area, otherwise intact, once glazed, pierced for mounting.
