Second Intermediate Period to New Kingdom. Circa 1650-1075. Gray glazed steatite scaraboid (23x15mm). Back carved in the shape of a human head, base engraved with a lotus flower flanked by a seated and a standing figure. Cf. Geneva 83 for a similar back. Well carved and intact, pierced for mounting. Rare.
