New Kingdom. 1550-1075 BC. Green glazed steatite amulet in the shape of a duck (17x13mm). Back in the form of a duck in typical pose, with head and neck turned backwards, base engraved with head of the goddess Hathor. Intact with some glaze remaining, pierced for mounting. Rare.
