New Kingdom. 1550-1075 BC. Blue glazed steatite amulet in the shape of a duck (16x10mm). Back in the form of a duck in typical pose, with head and neck turned backwards, base engraved with a symmetrical floral/Neb pattern. Intact, pierced for mounting. Rare and of fine style.
