New Kingdom. 1550-1075 BC. Brown glazed steatite amulet in the shape of a fish (18x13mm). Back in the form of a fish with finely detailed scales, gills, and face, base engraved with a lotus plant flanked by a human figure and the cartouche for Tuthmosis III. Intact, pierced for mounting. Very rare.
