Second Intermediate Period. Circa 1650-1550. Steatite scarab (18x9mm). Base engraved with several space-filling signs including a crown of Lower Egypt, a Horus falcon, and a cartouche with the typical Hyksos a-n-r sequence. Surface crack but intact, once glazed, pierced for mounting.
