New Kingdom. 1550-1075 BC. Steatite scarab (14x10mm). One side engraved with the name of Tuthmosis III within cartouche, the other depicting the head of a antelop and a camel (or leopard according to Matouk). Cf. Matouk II 880. In good overall condition, once glazed, pierced for mounting. Rare and interesting.
