Faience djed pillar amulet. Egyptian, Late Period, 668-332 BC. Height: 9.3cm. Light chips at top of pillar, otherwise intact.
A protective amulet placed with the deceased, djed pillars are thought to represent the spine of Osiris. Used as a hieroglyph, it stands for stability.
