Pair of gold earrings. Roman, circa 3rd century AD. Each with openwork shield, one of which has a central pearl bead. Openwork plate in form of two dolphins attached to shield, with hoops for three pendants to hold gold spacers and now missing beads.
Overall length: approx. 3.0cm. Light deposits. Missing most of the beads, but otherwise in good condition.
