Intaglio scene of the Binding of Isaac: Abraham about to sacrifice his son Isaac before a lit altar but, halted by divine intervention, represented by the manus Dei between above, he turns his head toward a ram caught in a bush which will be sacrificed in substitute. Diameter: 1.3cm; weight: 1.69g. Lightly toned with a few minor scratches. Desirable Biblical motif.
