CILICIA, Soloi. Circa 410-375 BC. AR Stater (20mm, 10.34 g, 7h). Head of Athena right, wearing crested Attic helmet decorated with griffin / Grape bunch within incuse square; ivy leaf on vine and ΣO-ΛE-[ΩN] in margins; all within shallow incuse circle. Casabonne type 4; SNG France 171 (same obv. die); SNG Levante –; SNG von Aulock –; Jameson 1607 (same obv. die); McClean 9083 (same dies). Good VF, dark iridescent toning, a little die wear on obverse, area of flat strike on reverse.
