GAUL, Northwest. Carnutes. ‘Pixtilos’. Circa 50-30 BC. Æ (16mm, 3.25 g, 6h). Head left, hair pulled back into crest-like form, torque around neck; three annulets above, PIXTILOS to left, treelike ornament to right / Lion standing left, roaring; two pellet-in-annulets above, PIXTILOS to lower left, saber-like ornament below.
