It is divided among the following five lots. The quality of the coins ranges from Fine to Extremely Fine. This interesting collection, which includes a number of rare coins – such as the one with the VAR countermark – and contains pieces from important collections, such as Niggeler, Rosen, Sydenham, and von Aulock. In addition, most of the coins are provenanced from major European auction houses like Glendining, Hess, Frank Sternberg, Jacob Hirsch, Frankfurter Münzhandlung E. Button, Münzen und Medaillen AG, Münzhandlung Karl Kreß, etc.
