TI CLAVDIVS CAESAR AVG P M TR P IMP, bare head left / LIBERTAS AVGVSTA, S C across field, Libertas standing front, head right, holding pileus in right hand and extending left hand. RIC I 97; von Kaenel Type 62; BMCRE 145-6; BN 177-8. Near EF, red-brown surfaces, traces of green, a few small imperfections. Portrait of artistic merit.
