COMMERCE INDUSTRIE, Mercury seated left on bale, holding winged caduceus; cornucopia at feet / QUO NON HAC DUCE, stern of ship with compass, rudder decorated with lion’s head; in exergue, XVIII VIRI BURDIGALENSES COMERCIIS REGENDIS. Feuardant -; Gadoury - (but cf. 1618 for rev.); cf. Lanz 139 (27 November 2007), lot 1014 (silver, slightly different legend). EF. Extremely rare.
