Youthful hero Thessalos, his petasos just visible behind his head and chlamys hanging around neck, restraining bull left by band held around its head, the bull being nearly wrestled to the ground / ΛAPI-Σ above, AI (retrograde) below, bridled horse prancing right; all within incuse circle. Lorber, Thessalian pl. 43, 57; BCD Thessaly II 371.1 (same obv. die). VF, lightly toned.
