SICILY, Himera. Circa 530-483/2 BC. AR Drachm (22mm, 5.93 g). Cock advancing right; HIM above, [EPAION to right] / Incuse square with mill-sail pattern, enclosed within segmented linear border. Kraay 9 (O5/R6); Rizzo –; cf. SNG ANS 137; Niggeler 94 = Jameson 605 (same dies). Good VF, toned, minor double strike on obverse. Extremely rare first issue with ethnic, only one example listed by Kraay.
