Radiate and cuirassed bust right / Hygeia, holding serpent, and Asclepius, leaning on serpent-entwined staff, each standing facing, heads toward one another; ΔC (date) in legend, H (mark of value) in exergue; c/m: ЄI within circular incuse. Karbach 163-8; SNG France 2275 (same rev. die); SNG Levante Supp. 393 var. (arrangement of rev. legend, mark of value in left field; same obv. die); for c/m: Howgego 535. Good VF, earthen brown patina.
