Constans II. 641-668. AV Solidus (19mm, 4.30 g, 6h). Constantinople mint, 8th officina. Struck 642-646/7. Crowned and draped facing bust, holding globus cruciger / Cross potent set on three steps; H//CONOB. DOC 1h; MIB 3b; SB 938. Good VF, slightly wavy flan, graffiti ‘beard’ added to bust, edge ding at 6 o’clock on reverse. An interesting ancient modification.
