AFGHANISTAN, Kingdom. Habib Allah. AH 1319-1337 / AD 1901-1919. Half of a bronze counterfeiter’s mold for casting rupees (35mm, 53.36 g). Dated AH 1322 (AD 1904/5). Obverse half of mold used for casting “legend within wreath/mosque” type rupees (cf. KM 842.1-2). Rim with drain and three depressions for locking into reverse half. VF, brown patina. Interesting.
