CALABRIA, Tarentum. Circa 276-272 BC. Stater (Gold, 8.53 g 3). Laureate head of Zeus to right; behind, monogram of ΝΚ. Rev. [ΤΑΡΑΝΤΙΝΩΝ] Eagle, with raised wings, standing left on thunderbolt; to right, monogram of ΑΡ. Fischer-Bossert G35 d (this coin). HN III, 983. Very rare. Reverse very slightly double-struck. Good very fine.
