LESBOS, Mytilene. Circa 377-326 BC. Hekte (Electrum, 2.55 g 11), c. 340 BC. Youthful head of Dionysos to right, wearing ivy wreath. Rev. Bearded head of Silenos facing, bald and with two animal ears; all within linear square. BMFA 1723. Bodenstedt 90 (m/ρ). An attractive, lightly toned example. About extremely fine.
