KINGS of MACEDON. Philip III Arrhidaios. 323-317 BC. AR Tetradrachm (24mm, 14.29 g, 8h). In the types of Philip II. Pella mint. Struck under Antipater or Polyperchon, circa 323-318/7 BC. Laureate head of Zeus left / Youth, holding branch, on horseback right; monogram below, trident below raised foreleg. Cf. Le Rider 491–4 (all with obv. type right). Good VF, toned. Unpublished variety with obverse type left.
