EPEIROS, Ambrakia. Circa 404-360 BC. AR Stater (18mm, 8.40 g, 11h). Pegasos flying left / Helmeted head of Athena left; to right, nude male, wearing Corinthian helmet, standing left, scanning. Ravel, Colts 124 (A54/P84); Pegasi 81/1-2 corr. (same dies, incorrectly cites Ravel 125a); SNG Copenhagen –; Kricheldorf XXV, lot 68 (same dies). Good VF, toned, obverse off center. Excellent metal.
