CILICIA, Issos. Circa 385-375 BC. AR Stater (20mm, 10.56 g, 3h). Helmeted head of Athena facing slightly left / Head of young Herakles(?) right. Brindley Group 6, b (dies 2/c); Casabonne type 6; SNG France 414 (same dies); SNG Levante –; ACGC 1029 = S. Robinson, “Greek Coins Acquired by the British Museum 1938-48,” NC 1948, p. 56, 9 (same dies). VF, lightly toned, porous. Extremely rare issue, only four recorded by Brindley.
