CILICIA, Seleucia ad Calycadnum. Gordian III. AD 238-244. Æ (31mm, 15.24 g, 6h). Radiate and draped bust right / Athena advancing right, brandishing thunderbolt and aegis at anguipede Giant, who raises hands. Cf. SNG Levante 764 (for type; same obv. die, with c/m); SNG France 1012 (same dies). Good VF, dark green and brown patina, light roughness.
