Middle Kingdom. 13th Dynasty (circa 1781-1650 BC). Steatite scarab (20x15mm). Base engraved with the title and name of the “royal carpenter, Nebsumena”. Cf. Martin 679-81 for the individual. Intact, once glazed, pierced for mounting. Very rare.
