New Kingdom. 18th Dynasty. Tuthmosis III (circa 1504-1450 BC). Steatite scarab (22x16mm). Base engraved with a man kneeling in adoration of the cartouche containing the name of Tuthmosis III. Cf. Basel 326; Matouk I, 310. Intact, once glazed, pierced for mounting.
